“It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”When he had said this, he breathed his last. Luke 23:44-46
A darkness may have come over the land at one time, and may still seem that way at times, but be assured that He has risen! He is still alive and powerful today! No matter what storm you face, Jesus is there in the midst, shining a light ready to help you fight your battles. The trouble we face on this earth – death, and sadness, will one day be non-existent.
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5)
He has risen! (Mark 16:6)
